5 Of The Best Business Podcasts You Should Listen To

Looking for a way to fit more business education into your day? If so listening to business podcasts may be the answer for you.

Podcasts are growing in popularity year on year and it makes absolute sense. Podcasts are a great way to use what could otherwise be dead time. You can listen to a podcast on your commute, in the gym, whilst you are cleaning and in so many other situations.

Now there are podcasts about everything, but if you know me, then you know I’m obsessed with trying to learn as much as possible so I’m sharing 5 of the best business podcasts that you should be listening to.

ONLINE MARKETING MADE EASY BY AMY PORTERFIELD

When it comes to business podcasts Amy Porterfield sets the bar so high with Online Marketing Made Easy. Amy has been creating the Online Marketing Made Easy podcast since 2013 and it is central to her business. As a leading online marketing strategist and course creator, Amy does a mixture of solo and interview episodes all with the focus of helping you to start and grow an online business.

The reason why I love the Online Marketing Made Easy podcast so much is because Amy is highly methodical and makes sure to cram her episodes full of practical advice. Her podcast is the backbone of her company and as a result, she creates great show notes and the majority of podcast episodes also have a supporting freebie that you can grab to ensure you are taking action on what has been discussed in the podcast.

Recently the podcast has started to change. Below you can see how the artwork for the podcast changed in July 2019 and there have been more personal episodes including episode #270 with Amy’s husband Hobie and episode #239 explores her weightloss journey. Whilst I’m less interesting in these personal episodes I had to include the podcast as with a back catalogue of over 250 episodes there are still some amazing episodes for anyone want to improve their online marketing knowledge.

The Angie Lee Show was on the first podcasts I ever listened to. That was back in 2017 when the show was called ‘Rich B*tch’. Angie Lee describes herself as a podcaster, speaker, entrepreneur, and marketing and sales ninja. Angie has built her business mainly via Facebook Lives and Instagram so they are two platforms that are discussed a lot. Originally a health coach her content is focused more to coaches, but there are valuable lessons for anyone especially when it comes to creating content, increasing your visibility and increasing your know, like and trust factor.

How often are new episodes of The Angie Lee Show released?
Angie likes to keep her podcast listeners on their toes so has no formal structure. On average she posts around 3 times a month, but to make sure you don’t miss the latest episode you’ll have to subscribe so you know when a new episode has been released.

As a free spirit, Angie Lee likes to mix things up, but episodes usually last from 20-40 minutes.
